The best place to park for La Sal Pass is at the beginning of Pack Creek
Rd. This will require you to ride on the pave road for about 1
mile. Obey traffic laws and you should be ok, us this advice on
your own risk.
Starting the climb up La Sal Pass. Watch for other vehicles.
Also notice how many for trees there are as you climb.
As you get higher you will start get to get views of were your are
going.
The higher you go the rougher the trail will become.
Get ready for one tough section of talus slope. It is just
tough enough to get your attention
The higher you go the colder it will get. It was in the
90s in Moab but there was not everywhere near the top.
Lots of Aspens near the top. Can't decide if you want to
go to Moab or Colorado, well if you go to Moab you can have
both.
This picture was taken May and snow still completely blocked the
trail. We could not reach the top. FYI a CR250 will
not bust through a snow drift like the cars on TV.
