The Red Cone and Webster Pass trail makes a loop that runs from road 285 just out of Montezuma over Webster Pass and back down the one way trail over spectacular Red Cone. |
The southern half of the loop leaving Webster pass going toward Red Cone road. The loop is about 20 miles long but if you sight see it will take all day. |

Red Cone is the most unique mountain I have ever seen in Colorado. The trail over Red Cone goes to an elevation of 12,801ft |

Other trails in this area Radical Hill Trail: Park just past Montezuma where trail 285 starts. Follow 285 through the valley and turn at the sign that points to Webster Pass. From Webster Pass follow the trail into the next valley for a few miles until you get to trail #565.2. Follow this to trail #565 and sign will point to Red Cone. After Red Cone leave the way you came in or make the Swan River/Radical Hill loop
